This thriller was full of suspense and drama. I must say it is a must read for thrill lovers.
The prologue begins when the protagonist Karen Krupp is tense and is driving her car in some shady part of NYC. People generally don't expect housewives there. She ends up skipping a traffic signal and crashes her vehicle into a pole. Whereas the same day and nearly the same time a man is murdered nearby. Detectives Rasbach and Jennings handle the case. They have their usual and unusual suspects. Tom Krupp is portrayed as a loving husband who stands with his wife in her ups and downs. Brigid is another character I loved the most. She is a neighbour of the Krupps.
In a nutshell, this book drives you to imagine endless amount of things which could have happened. Some parts were a little predictable but the Plot never lost its pace.

Character of Tom Krupp:
I personally liked the character of Tom Krupp a lot. He has been portrayed as a supportive husband. He was a loving husband and took great care of his wife. He wanted to provide her with all the happiness of the world. Although he panicked when didn’t find his wife at home but he knew about his love. He knew that she can’t leave him. He loved her immensely. He stood by her most of the times. Even in the time of difficulty when all the proofs were against his wife he supported her. He himself doubted his wife but never let that come over his love. The way he stood by her is what every man should do.
